Patient Access
Ordering a Repeat Prescription
The easiest ways to order repeat prescriptions are:
- Complete the repeat prescription slip and bring to the practice or post
- using the GP online system: Patient Access or the NHS App
Please order you repeat prescription at least 5 full working days before you run out.
Please note we do not accept repeat prescription requests over the telephone.
Your repeat prescriptions will be sent to the local Pharmacy where they can be collected. If you want to nominate a different pharmacy please let us know.
We use Electronic prescribing. Your chosen Pharmacy will get your prescription from your GP. This will let us track where your prescription is at any time.
You can change your nominated Pharmacy at any time. Just tell the new Pharmacy or your GP practice and they will amend your record.
Medication Queries
If you have a query about your medication, please call the practice on 01270 811440 or submit an e-consult.

About Pharmacies
As qualified healthcare professionals, pharmacists can offer advice on minor illnesses such as:
- coughs
- colds
- sore throats
- tummy trouble
- aches and pains
They can also advise on medicine that you can buy without a prescription.
Many pharmacies are open until late and at weekends. You do not need an appointment.
Most pharmacies have a private consultation room where you can discuss issues with pharmacy staff without being overheard.
